Secure Token payment is a new payment method that provides customers with a great new way to secure their recurrent credit and debit card transactions.
All credit card transactions through our merchant interface require the CVV security code number to be submitted with the credit card details. For recurrent payments, such as monthly or annual fees this can be tedious as we are not allowed to store all the necessary info to process subsequent transactions.
Using the Secure Token method, credit card inforomation is submitted once and a token issued for your account by the e-commerce gateway. We store this token and use it to process subsequent transactions. Further transactions are allowed on the basis of the token, prior authority and transaction history. Your credit card information is inaccessible as we no longer keep any of it except your card type, last 4 digits and expiry date as a reminder of the card you have tokenised with us. The token we store is useless to any other merchant as it is encoded only to allow payments to clickonIT.
Your default payment method can be set in your account and your payment mode and card details changed anytime you make a payment online.
